Teen Sacramental prep is offered for anyone in middle or high school who is interested in preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist.

Preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation is a separate preparation. For more information on preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation click here.

We are overjoyed that these young people want to grow closer to Christ and His Church through the sacramental life.

Preparation for First Reconciliation

Students are expected to attend all classes unless they are sick or traveling.

Students should be prepared to pass their First Reconciliation interview in January. Please use your Blue Prayer book to memorize your prayers and study especially pages 18-20.

First Reconciliation will be held in January for students who are ready.

Preparation for First Communion

Students should be prepared to pass their First Communion interview in class in April. Please use your Blue Prayer book to memorize your prayers and study especially pages 25-26.

First Communion will be held on in May for students who are ready.

Retreats

We ask all of our students to participate in an annual retreat. Retreats help our young people encounter Jesus in a powerful way and build Christ-centered friendships at St Timothy’s. Information will be coming soon.

Parent & Teen Meetings

There are 4 meetings a year that parents attend with their teen. This is a time for parents to learn with their teen and to find out important information about reception of the sacraments.
