Mini-Lenten Retreat for Adults


Rosary Prayer Group on Zoom: You are invited to join our group each Wednesday evening starting at 7:45 p.m. to pray the Rosary on Zoom.
Contact Barb Schaberl for the Zoom link bschaberl@comcast.net. We want to gather all the
prayer warriors we can muster in this ongoing prayer group. You don’t have to be present every week, but we hope you will join us each week that you are able.

The conference will feature Curtis Martin of FOCUS Ministries, Nathan Crankfield of Seeking Excellence Ministries, and Neal Lozano of Heart of the Father Ministries. Archbishop William Lori will open the conference with the celebration of Mass beginning at 8 AM.
Conference activities will include presentations, the administration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation by priests from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Select vendors will also be available for the purchase of Catholic religious items throughout the day.

Starting in the New Year 2023
The Gospel of Matthew
If you want 2023 to be the year you get closer to Jesus please join us for Matthew: The King & His Kingdom, a 24 session study from Jeff Cavins & Ascension Press. We will study all 28 chapters of Matthew’s Gospel throughout the year starting on 1/10/2023. We meet on Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7. The meetings will be broken into 3 clusters so there will be breaks, one in the Spring & the other in the Summer. So let’s join the eager Zacchaeus up in the Sycamore Tree & get a better view of Jesus, Our Lord & Savior.

Metanoia: A Journey with Christ into Conversion
This is another wonderful series brought to us from Fr Dave Pivonka and his Wild Goose film series.
It will focus on topics such as; Who is Jesus, What must we do to gain eternal life and many other important areas of our faith journey. This program is filmed on site in the Holy Land and consists of eleven 30-minute videos. This program is offered on Formed.
The 10 week series will be offered in two 5-week chunks.
You may participate on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm beginning January 18, 2023 OR Thursday mornings at 10:30am beginning January 19, 2023.

Cost $10 donation to defray the cost of printing the study guide and providing Formed to the Parish. You may pay in the Parish Office or online here. Simply include your name under “student” and in the notes section write “Metanoia” or “adult study.”

Tim’s C.A.F.E. (Catholic Adult Faith Enrichment)
An open committee is starting to formulate and implement ongoing varied opportunities for adults to enrich their faith in a warm welcoming environment. Our goal is to offer a variety of attractive options (something to suit everyone) for adults to grow spiritually and enjoy fellowship with other parishioners. The options vary from social settings, game nights, courses, bible study, prayer groups, book clubs, etc. Additional ideas are welcome. For more information, contact Marissa Paoletti.
